Winns also operate robust recruitment*, training and operating programs, in conjuction with British standards 7858 (Security screening of security Employees) & 7499 (Static site guarding & Moblie patrols), NSI and ACS standards.
These quality assurances, along with our health, safety and welfare procedures, financial capacity, and business ethos are currently audited 3 times per annum, by the NSI and the SIA. We also utilise an online, server-based data monitoring system, namely ‘Netroster’. This system alone, allows us to monitor and record all personnel, i.e. booking On, Off, Check calls throughout their shift. It acts as an early warning system for our controllers. It houses all relevant information pertaining to the officer, site and client, including an electronic copy of the sites Assignment Instructions and Risk Assessment. This system allows us to invoice and pay our Clients and staff exaclty what they should be charged and paid, monitors patterns in punctuality, attitude, absence, amongst others. It allows you the Client, to access the system. This gives you access to see who is working for you, where they are working, what check calls they have made, and also monitor your own companies budgets!! You will also be afforded a ‘Single Point of Contact’ who will be reachable 24/7, 365 days a year. Should you contact become unavailable for any reason, your ‘Second Point of Contact’ (see assignment instructions) will come into play. Your contact will be able to help you with any matter, issue or request that you may have, pertaining to the contract, so you do not have to calls many different people or departments to sort out your issues. One Call to Sort all! (Single Point of Contact – Mr John Dowler has had 7 and a half years Armed Forces experience, with a frontline Infantry battalion serving in N. Ireland & Bosnia during intense operations. He also has 9 years civilian security management experience. He was M.D. of a city security firm, before moving back to his local area, to help establish WINNS Security as a major force within the industry). The current British Standard for screening individuals (BS 7858) states that a ‘5 year Checkable work history is adequate, however WINNS still operate a full 10 years checkable work history, and all potential employees must have been residing in the UK for at least 5 years, or carry Police and Government clearances from their home countries Home office to state they are legal immigrants and not wanted for any reason.
